So we are expecting this company to develop into something more substantial. Its likely new staff will come on and old staff move on. Some will get options, some bucketloads. So will the company now make a habit of funding loans for any situation in the future where someone is too lazy or inept to fund their share of the pie?
Ross and Stew may be top blokes. That is never the basis for making a lending decision. As to their fragile mtoviation to come to work each day, if they need a "good onya certificate" like most would get in a normal job, we could probably spring to that.
Philby, they have MASSIVE incentives already, options they just have to convert. I dont think they should need anything else to feel motivated, particularly if it undermines the fiscal integrity of the company.
This remains a big NO for me still.
