Probably that attempt to summarise those different versions is wrong in some aspects, but it highlights the unfortunate and strange situation that there is not even agreement on such a core and basic belief among Christians themselves.
Not surprising Christianity has always been fertile ground for disagreement and violence between those professing to follow the same faith, let alone against those who follow other beliefs.

There are more than 4 different views. However, I would put it to you that none of the people you are quoting are "Christians." If you don't believe me, ask each of them "What is a Christian" and see what answer you get.
