Have spoken with an IT guy working on a program to be implemented in NSW local courts (not sure what type of matters) that utilises an AI program to assess evidence and submissions of the plaintiff and the defendant and provide a draft decision which a Magistrate can chose to use/use in part or not use. Same thing will happen with Federal matters (such as decisions on visa applications). The immigration department is already simplifying what can be submitted online (I presume so that they have useful data sets for AI to work with and generate a draft decision).
