The straight up greed of the 4 big banks and other companies ( such as electricity & gas), combined with the Reserve Bank of Aus trying to control the interest rate @1.5 for 22 months are just some of the reasons why the Aud is so low.

When something like last week happens to any stock, personally I call it a "cascading stop-loss". Much like a computer having multiple errors, which result in an all out failure in the system/SP.

Too many people have unwittingly "clustered" or "laddered" their stop losses. Resulting in a snow ball effect.

That's why potential buyers need to wait for some consolidation.
