    ANZ will win this in court because the law is on their side.
    I imagine the judge will explain to the litigants to sue Opes or their directors because the stock holders have no relationship with ANZ.
    People are keen on analogies here.
    Try this one:
    Your house is done over by the local druggie and your brand new flat screen telly is nicked. You see it in the Pawn Shop a few days later. You have all the details to prove it is yours but I can tell you that the only way you can get back the telly is by buying it from the shop owner. That is the law and for a very good reason. It might not be fair but the system depends on it.
