I am not a holder so I dont have a dog in this fight. Just be careful before you pop the champagne corks. This is not like a placement to a US fund manager. In that case the interests of the institution and the retail investor are aligned. Both want the share price to go up to make a profit. These guys make their money trading and hence their interests are seldom aligned with the shareholders. Yes you will get capital injections but these guys are in it for themselves and will savagely manipulate the share price to maximise their return.

This is not a passive institution taking a cornerstone stake in a business they believe in. This a smart money operation seeing an opportunity to get access to a large chunk of stock, without buying on market, that they can manipulate to their advantage. Your board might have let a fox into the henhouse.
