It basically means they are spending approximately $150 per day on advertising within the Apple App Store, and seeing around $300 - $400 of revenue per day (since 19 August). Ie a positive return.
Distinctly is an emphasis word – it is simply saying that the positive return is very noticeable or apparent and readily distinguishable.
