WTF?!? Unbelievable, just unbelievable!
Tony Rovira received an increase to his remuneration package in the prior FY - now totalling $640,902 p/a!!!!!
This includes a $100,000 bonus (why did he receive a cash bonus when the share price fell by 50% over the remuneration period???)
And then this little pearl on p.17 :
"Azure Minerals received approximately 90% of “yes” votes on its remuneration report for the 2017 financial year. Remuneration consultants were not engaged during the year and the company did not receive any specific feedback at the AGM or throughout the year on its remuneration practices"
In my opinion, it’s almost like they’re saying, “Well, some people may think our remuneration practices are excessive but nobody’s objected so far so we’re gonna keep doing it, lol”
This really grinds my gears. I’m so happy I’m not holding this stock!!!
