I think you are missing the point Ex Bull. Decriminalisation allows for an industry to be created and standards produced. This would mean no more backyard setups and dodgy pills, and no more tests required past the point of manufacturing.

Since when have druggies been intelligent enough to care about standards? Since when have bikkies cared about standards? the bikkies will just undercut the regulated product.
So tens of thousands die from drugs now and you want to add more tens of thousands?
But at least the survivors will vote green, the only party that will keep their drugs legal. Imagine the fear that would grip the feeble hearts of millions of druggies if their legal supply was ever cut off.
