"I see the 4 Bil Bbl's oil in place cropping up again, I can't help but think FAN is being included with SNE in those figures, as as it stands it is part of that development..."

Moot of course Whiskey, but I didn't read it that way.
She talked about "huge oil source rock", then goes on to say,

"in the SNE field we have 4 billion barrels of oil in place, so it's a huge amount of oil that has been generated offshore".

So I take it to be in the SNE field alone excluding Fans etc.
Either way of course we are talking sh#tloads of oil.

For the sake of the "shaggy dog" have to emphasize that nothing is a given.
However make the comment that obviously the prolific source rock augurs well for Samo. Further that if Samo comes in pro-forma then it could well be a "better" field than SNE. I say this because of hopefully, the "thicker" sands and more concentrated nature of the field. SNE's figures are dependent on producing from the 400 sands which are relatively thin and extend over a large area. As an aside, perhaps this helps explain the different numbers coming from CNE and FAR etc. Economic flow rates from thin sands over a large area add to the variables, etc.
Now as I say if Samo was to come in pro-forma then we are likely to be talking about a large amount of oil contained in thicker sands in a smaller area. This would hopefully translate into a simpler development, fewer wells, very high flow rates, etc, etc.
But of course we get ahead of ourselves, and all conjecture.
What I know about it can be put on the back of a small postage stamp. I'm not even able to see the fault lines on the cartoons used in the CNE and FAR presentations.
I will leave well locations and the technical stuff to the experts.
    All JIMHO of course.
