President Trump, emboldened by America’s economic strength and China’s slowdown, escalated his trade war on Monday, saying the United States would impose tariffs on $200 billion worth of Chinese goods as punishment over Beijing’s trade practices.
The fresh round of tariffs comes on top of $50 billion worth of Chinese products already taxed earlier this year, meaning nearly half of all Chinese imports into the United States will soon face tariffs.

POTUS indicated that if China takes retaliatory action against American farmers or other industries, he will immediately pursue phase three, which is tariffs on approximately $267b of additional imports- and this is the worrying part even Jim Cramer (CNBC's Mad Money host) admits. Do you expect China to sit still and not do anything? This is not looking good, sad that we are coming to this...but can Dow continue to climb the wall of worries?

In the face of escalating trade tensions that is likely to dampen the market over Sept-Oct, closing another 4 positions that usually trade on low liquidity- CXL, MYE, CGL and PME with 32%, 21%, 12% and 33% returns in less than 4 months.
