I asked Mike Sandy the following question a few weeks ago:

Q: I've noticed the announcements appear to have been getting less "bullish" as each project has progressed. Perhaps this is just my perception, but can you please tell me if you expect Marlin to be as strong as Jet?


He answered:
A: For earlier wells we found there was not a good correlation between the clean up rate and the actual sales rate so we decided to wait until sales have commenced before announcing flow rates for M1. Can’t say much more that that at this stage

I was pleased to get a reply to a cheeky question!

As to "where to from here?" I'd be keen to hear suggestions from Neil and others.
My guess is that they may be reconsidering the oil re-entry project following the stunning success at Marlin, and maybe they're thinking about Marlin 2 and perhaps even re-drilling the laterals at Jet, and maybe even fraccing YPU1, but that's just wild speculation.

It seems a shame to switch tack after 4 from 4.
