There has to be other life out there do your sums.
Our sun is in Milky Way galaxy which has approx 200-400 billion stars.
The known universe has approx 300-500 billion galaxies.
The number of stars in the visible (this excludes the unknown universe) universe is estimated to be 70 thousand million million million thats 70,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 thats 7 followed by 22 zeros.
Now to think that our sun is the only star that has an orbiting planet that has life on it you would have to be very narrow minded.
There is an estimation of approx 30 billion earth like planets in our galaxy alone now imagine how many earth like planets in the whole universe (known and unknown).
Lets say that only one star in ever hundred million has a planet orbiting that has life that means that there is over 7,000,000,000,000 planets with some form of life.
I cant see why we live in a universe so vast yet little old earth is the only planet with life, come on get real.
