The problem is, they believe they are living in their Promised Land.
I cannot have anything but admiration for the way the Israeli's have managed to carve out a nation from and defend it despite being surrounded on all sides by enemies.
It's a shame that they cannot be at peace with their neighbours, but it hasn't been so for the last few thousand years, and it won't get better anytime soon.
