"The chief executive of Macquarie Airports says the business outlook for the company remains robust and has a $1 billion-plus war chest at the ready for takeover opportunities.
"We are well funded with $1.2 billion in cash and are looking out for good opportunities to make acquisitions," Kerrie Mather said in a speech in Sydney on Thursday.
Ms Mather said there were significant opportunities to improve airports in the United States."

About time that Macquarie bring some attention to the stocks they manage. Most are in a good position and have quality teams behind them.
Hopefully the attention will give the stock the boost it needs.
