One of my observations is that they are introducing the intevia product to a customer and the customer is then developing it into an end product. I got the impression the porters security solution for containers was developed like this. Intevia/PDT would purely be acting as consulting engineers and not neccessarily completing the full design and development. I belive this is one way to alleviate the workload from Intevia/PDT and focus more on customer enagagement and sales.

Having said that, there is good money to be made in the engineering side of the business.
