Politics is toxic across the board. Dont forget Shorten killed off Rudd and Gillard. He also trashed the Labor brand to a new low with his role in the entire debacle. He hid behind the scenes gathering votes for his own promotion to head Muppet. He has never really been trusted or preferred as PM.
