The X trade was a special (SP) X trade, and does not require the board to be at the Xed price under ASX trading rules. The board could have been at 5c or 35c, it didn't matter.
If the Chinese (or any outsiders) were the buyer, it represents a mark of confidence in the stock (timeframe to be determined by yourself).
