Agree, I think Tim has a lot of mobile phone experience and would know what market he would be addressing. I agree brand is important for the youth, however if it is the parent buying a phone for them, and the kid would like a smart phone, the cost for apple phones are increasing! they would all would want a smart phone. Now the parents can buy them a smart phone with the comfort of filtering services inbuilt. Side note, I do see products like smart watches for kids being sold, if I was a kid, I would rather a phone than a watch, then as a parent here is the answer.

Big picture woukd be, if schools are banning phones, they might allow a family zone phone on the grounds as this could be controlled and not worked around.

You can be pessmistic, but if they get some good re-sellers it could move quickly out the door for Christmas! Exciting times ahead really.
