I have never seen the SP not fall after a consolidation. Maybe MUS will be different, but if it is then it would be very, very unusual.
Interesting this effect also works in reverse. A company I am invested in did a 6:1 reverse consolidation (i.e. split) and the SP still fell. The market does not like you to play around with the historical SP.
