Perhaps it was necessary. Maybe the Browns are starting to suspect PB is more interested in his job than in the shareholders. Funny thing is, a lot of this acrimony could have been averted simply by an announcement setting out the process that needs to be gone through to get CLC to sign.
Someone posting earlier asked whether anyone had tried to contact TNG. Over the last couple of months I tried three emails to the company 'contact us' address. The basic tenure of my questions was asking for information on what was happening and why such a big delay. We did get the Traditional Owner announcement but that means nothing without the CLC approval. Also, I had no reply of any sort, not even an acknowledgement of receipt. Clearly the existence of a 'contact us' address is just for show.
