    It has been nearly 10 months but still no payment, common sense can tell it is very likely (like >90% chance) the deal has been defaulted.

    According to my vague memory (from Uni), in accounting practice, if a payment is not received in 120 days, it will be deemed as a bad debt and will be written off as an "expense". Now, it has been way more than 120 days.
