Has anyone downloaded their tax statement from the new site ?
Found the info this morning. But when comparing it to my own spreadsheet i found the cost base of certain stocks in the statement to be wildly inaccurate compared to my own records which i know to be 100% correct.
Whilst the total number of shares sold & the total sales figure is correct, i found the cost base cannot be relied upon as it omits numerous purchases that were made on market ( not as a result of issues etc )
Don't rely on the info presented when doing your tax !!
