I agree with several of the other posters that the several of the state labour governments have a whiff of corruption around them (in the case of NSW that should be stench).
However save us from having the greens as the opposition. They're just reborn communists with the same command and control narrow mindset. "We know what the problem is and how to fix it. You will take your medicine whether you like it or not and whether you agree with us or not."
Rudd and Labour, I'd give them 10 years/3 terms. By then they'll be out of ideas and getting stale. Hopefully by then the Liberals with leader number 4 or 5 will have pulled themselves together and have a coherent set of ideas for the elctorate. Otherwise it will be a new party altogether in opposition, possibly centre-left as Labour could hardly be called a left party now, execpt that they are somewhere to the left of the hard right.
