I actually think the idea behind floating the bond on the DSE is genius. It allows those in Tanzania, who wish to invest, the opportunity to benefit from their country’s mineral wealth too. From a selfish point of view, clearly it benefits all holders immensely, but there is a part of me who thinks that the company’s plan for funding is both clever and socially responsible.
Bring on ML and the $40m USD.
