gmbHag, I think you hit the nail on the head, when you said comprimise.
I'm studying Env Mge at the moment and I had a chance recently to lunch with a very very senior WA EPA member a couple of weeks ago and I asked about mid west Fe developments, since I hold GBG, and they said;
" We were out there just after Xmas looking at the BIF communities. Its a shame, there are some companies who are bending over backwards to accomodate their environmental commitments, and there are others who are absolute cowboys, unfortunately its the ones doing the right thing that have the most significant areas (thats environmentally not metallurgically significant)"
I drew my own conclusions.
Compromise is not all bad, it does give a company the chance to crow about their environmental credentials and everso deep green heart(increasingly important to investors), plus provides pretty pictures for the propectus.
