You need to do your homework on CVN.
CVN isn't just trading on historical (31 Dec) reserves statement. If it did should it have been trading last week on the previous reserves statement?
As for the Chinese, they are a mix of good and bad investors like everyone else. They are also buying oil in desperation. I don't believe AED would have got anywhere near as much from anyone else, then maybe all is not as it seems? Have you read the fine print of the deal.
You need to look forward, not back. CVN are projected to make a NPAT of over A$50mm for the June 08 FY (Hartleys).
