Whilst building a local community is admirable, the prime focus for any listed company is to build wealth for its shareholders and, in this regard, AZC has been an unmitigated failure
I donate as much as I can to charity but I do not expect the funds I invest here to be used for on the job traning for AZC's workers
As I understand it, this is a small and relatively simple mining operation which should have been running at peak efficiency AGES ago. Instead, it has been beset by one problem after another, most of which appear to be attributable to managerial and worker incompetence
Read some of the previous posts about management...I don't know if you have spoken to the CEO. I have on a few occassions and he comes across as thoroughly unimpressive who seems to dither from one crisis to another and who inspired in me absolutely no confidence whatsoever I'm not the only one
Their marketing is a disgrace and they appear to run this operation as a community project, rather than a public company with a broad shareholder base
