Unless they have mass spectrometers in their eyes the drill core doesn't indicate anything (other than if there was visible gold lol). This is especially considering we're looking for a few metres of anything above 0.1% Cobalt in 1200m of drill core. Imagine walking through 1.2 kilometres of drill core trying to pick 1 part in 1000 by eye lol.
