I don't know when USD/AUD will hit 0.70 again, but it might happen one day. I just see so many USD denominated assets (particularly property) and goods (clothes, electrical, food etc) as cheap in AUD terms and conclude that in fundamental terms (awfully hard to tie down) that the AUD may be overvalued. I intend to hold for the very long term and may never re-patriate the USD back into AUD, I like the current rate and will continue to add to it when I have spare dough.
