Looking again it appears to be a basalt intrusion along a fracture in conglomerate which is being demonstrated to be gold bearing. There is clay, but as it is near surface its difficult to know its origin and whether just the clay or clay/conglomerate has been dug out above the basalt intrusion to recover gold.
I wish a geologist would explain exactly what we are seeing.
Certainly appears to be a more complex geology than the simple paleoplacer model novo have been talking about.
If Purdys contains basalt intrusions then who owns any gold in them?
To me, this video just raises more questions than it answers. But given noone else has mentioned anything about it I guess im not interpereting the video correctly.
