g11; we ALL got burned by Opes; just look at the sp and that of all the others in which any of us have an interest. I am thankful that there are only two left listed of my portfolio but the whole debacle has dragged everything down. Who is wanting to put money back into a market after such a meltdown?
Yes I too hope that some of the greedier members of our society learn some lessons, but we are all part of the sytem and we all play our part in big ways or small. It's just that most of us had no idea just how greedy or how stupid some so called big-noters could really get.
I hope that we can one day get back to a point where the value of a stock can be clearly delineated by its business activities and not by the corrupt manipulations of those for whom the phrase, "What profits it a man that he gains the whole world yet loses his soul", has yet to have an impact.
