I take the view that "The Browns" who have forever been quiet, never been public and have kept a stable holding through some testing times, have broken there silence for good reason. Even then the "breaking of their silence" has taken the conservative form of filing a 249D Requisition inviting all share holders to a democratic vote process.

"The Browns" is a regrettable abrieviation as acording to the Companies update the Requsitioning party/s are Mr W W Brown and Mrs M H Brown on behalf of an investment entity WWB lnvestments P/L S/F A/C and a Mr PW Brown. So two separate entities and until the recent placement I recall both featured on the top 20.

These considered entities have as I think we all agree considerable reserves and therefore many options available to them. They are also well placed and knowledgeable in Mining and Investment circles. For that reason I'm sure that when raising issues of chair appointment I'm confident they have previously made a proposal that has been rejected.

We know from the moderated and informative post by "box" two days ago that there had been behind the scenes discussions about the background issues set out. We know this moderated post is accurate as the company sort it be moderated on the grounds that it was unauthorised disclosure of matters private and confidential.

The post attracted 71 likes pre moderation, close if not a record for a HC post on TNG forum and the threat over 20,000 views in its short active life.

There is therefor support for bringing sunlight on the underlying concerns. The "Brown" controlled entities have chosen a prudent share holder interactive process to bring light on these issues. By contrast the Co/ has retreated by denying the validity of the issues.

This in itself is insightful after all the BOD are elected or appointed representatives of the share holders and must act in good faith on behalf of the share holders. It is for them to garner support and confidence and importantly to provide transperancy and were necessary explain questioned decisions.

It is for these reasons that we have seen posts from normally quiet holders, Sasha39 as an example. Considered posts from quiet knowledgeable persons. Discount if you like peeps like me, but even then I'm generally pro TNG and an optimist who generally finds myself looking to justify or support TNG and its boards decisions.

It is time for the board to bring this to an end. It is time to recognise the issue and share holder concerns and respond accordingly. If RT took voluntary resignation ahead of the general meeting it doesn't mean he has failed, nor is it at this juncture a personal critism. It is recognition that the board needs fresh oversight and input and he is following the wishes of a significant portion of if not majority of the share holders.

That is why I support the Requisitioning parties.

Appreciate your post. My worries over this whole saga are abating but I had huge concerns, as you have no doubt guessed, because of the comments made by a poster on here who appears to be a party to this.
The fact that PB will be selecting his own chairman/director takes away my top most fears re an outside ring in disrupting the board dynamics etc the outcome of which, I don't believe, would be good for current shareholders.
If this is were it stops then I'm a yes vote. And if it means a few delays while management focus their efforts into finding a suitable replacement then so be it. What's a few more months
