    Darka221,

You would not have wanted to have been around at end of 2014/early 2015 when there was a major " rift " with Glencore and the SP dropped from around 25c to about 3c-4c.......I had attended the AGM in November 2014 and was impressed with what I heard and how good the resource looked so after the meeting finished I bought another parcel at approx 25c......100,000 shares.
To see this in the space of 3-4 months crash to that 3-4c was not good........however I had great faith in the BoD and in particular in the then Chairman, Mr Tony Wehby.......disclaimer in that I've known him for 50+years, as we were at school together.....and he is a very honest, reputable and hard working guy......just the sort of guy to have in a tight corner when the s##t hits the fan. I knew that he would have been there fighting tooth and nail for all of us SHs, irrespective of his friendships with many of us ( runs in his family as his father was a decorated soldier in WW2 ).
I also admired his decision to stand down as the company Chairman in favour of Cob Johnson at the last ?? AGM, where he explained he was not really qualified to lead a growing gold mining powerhouse company as his expertise was in mining company startups as his background was in financing etc rather than the actual mining and engineering background that the new chairman was / has and thus it needed a different experienced person to head up AMI and lead it forward in conjunction with Jim Simpson.
It takes a guy with a lot of integrity to admit that he needed to stand aside for a better qualified person to take over and lead us to a brighter future..... it's also pleasing to see that he's still a very substantial shareholder as he said when he stood down , that he could see a very good future coming for AMI after rising from the ashes of the Glencore debacle.
So Darka221 there is still a lot of potential in AMI, I would suggest that you research some of the very excellent material that Goldbull22 has posted in the past, as I don't want to be accused of being an up ramper by posting my own opinion; I have as per an earlier post bought another parcel in AMI ( around 50c ) and having just received another small compensation payout ( Friday ) will be buying again this week; similarly without wanting to be accused of cross promoting another stock may I suggest you also research as to which gold company our old chairman is now the chairman as its IMO at a very reasonable price.

    Cheers and good luck
    Civil
PS. Can only stress it's worth going to the AGM in ??November, but buy a few shares first to qualify to go.
    Cheers again.
