i hear what you're saying re: timelines for nuke waste, and dont get me wrong, im not advocating nuke waste dumps here there and everywhere.
the frogs have a plant that burns up most of the waste coming out of the newest reactors.
what took ten years to fill up a storage space now takes 100 years.
thats a massive reduction, and resesarch is continuing. id give you the link but i deleted it just the other day. the israelies have something similar v close to commercialisation, or have done so, as someone else could confirm.
minds much beter than mine are looking for the perfect solution and the rate of progress is heartening.
