Apparently John Snow did some jawboning last week too. They dont want the USD fall to go too quick so every now and then they wheel out the BS spiels.
The big picture remains the same. It will take AT LEAST two years for the US imbalances to sort out with the current "inflate and grow away the debt" setup and that is if every thing goes super dooper hunky dory.
if other nations get into competitive currency devaluations then this pricess will take longer
