I figured out why the winch on my 4wd doesn't work.
It seems that the brushes and contacts are corroded and need cleaning.
I've never used it.
It seems you have to exercise it at least once a month.
Someone could of told me that at the beginning.
It's going to be hell removing the damn thing.
