Surely that must infer that they have insufficient quantities of certain battery materials to make both cars and power walls???
I have been surprised that very few posters have commented on the positive effect of the falling A$. Currently it is down 6.67% on the US 75c rate used in the DFS. Given how the US economy is performing so well and further interest hikes are coming, according to many economists, we may soon see the A$ fall to US65c which will be 13.33% lower than tbe DFS. Whilst some operating costs like freight and energy will be adversely affected by a lower A$, 100% of the future revenues will increase significantly by these changes in exchange rates. Could be a significant unexpected bonanza for all mining companies.
