I actually still hold my October 3.24 put which is now in the money and was being whittled away with the up trend of the last week or 2, but it's come to life again the last couple of days. I actually took a longer dated long call position as well in January for 3.16 so will see how this volatility plays out.
Noone can predict the future but we ride the highs and lows with white knuckles until we either can't hold on any more or we have sufficient profit to move onto the next thing.
I don't think there's any panic in the markets yet, it's just the usual 1-2 week ups n downs.
Panic is usually 3%+ moves in the index sustained for days/weeks at a time.
