I decided the price differential was too compelling and decided to risk loss of control of stock for a few weeks. I figured that a sell of that many at $1.18 de-risked this a bit as it is reducing my average (ie 5263 out at $1.18 replaced by 5263 at $0.95 from SPP).
Anybody know of the status of the SPP - I suspect it will be oversubscribed given the heads price now - so our allocation may be reduced somewhat. They did however hint that it was first-come-first-served in that they may close the subscription early once it is fully subscribed.
An oversubscribed SPP would certainly give strong support to the SP, though I would be a tad annoyed if I only get half the allocation and this shoots to $1.80 again.
