The least that anyone can do when demanding and expecting all the benefits and comforts of a modern lifestyle in this day and age is to embrace what makes our society function and then attempt to make a contribution.
As people continue to regurgitate the old arguments that apply to another generation (IE; take their land, disrupt their lifestyle, introduced diseases etc) the 'they owe us' attitude is re-enforced. Such resentment is unhelpful in both racial relations and moving forward into the future.
