What will happen with these Rudd child centre hubs is that the child care component will be privatised and the health and other allied services will be paid for by Federal/State/Locoal Governments. No tier of government is going to rush in to fully pay for all of the dvelopment plus oncosts simply as it would eb too expensive.
Besides Rudd only threw this idea out to show that he thinking and doing things. He seems to be falling into trap of the Victorian Labour Governments (both look into Bracks and Brumby) is to set up committes to look into things and then do nothing. After all isnt enough they justlooked into it?
