"Once again I say gratitude and the inner desire for change is the real answer."

    Billy

Gratitude is an emotion that must be given. Iron fist approaches will not invoke gratitude.

The inner desire for change is an interesting one and probably the heart of the problem.
I don't think the majority have an inner desire for change.
This is why it must be evolving and not radical.
It must be lead from within.

I think their could be a whole 2020 summit just on this topic.

I like the idea of role models to lead. People tend to fit into their culture whether that culture is good or bad.
I am a great believer in positive reinforcement.

The first positive was the apology...whether necessary or deserved is a mute point.
It was a positive first step.
Now we need to have role models that live and work in all the communities (not simply Footy player role models).

Somewhere along the line the aboriginal people have lost a lot of their pride. If they can regain that then the future will evolve based on their own actions rather than ours, however I think we need to assist in drafting the plan.
