Doodle, Swatch, etc, I suspect this question comes from what I said on a previous thread. I've considered this line of reasoning, that SB-1A is only a small part of the merger, before originally posting .. BUT remember that SB-1A is NOT your average exploration well .. it is an appraisal of a POSSIBLE large gas / oil find that COULD open up the whole Canning basin!! .. not your average high risk/reward exploration well. Plus ARQ has only started to explore the basin!

I thought the ideas was, drill a number of wells over the entire basin (north, south, east, west)(6 - 8) but if nothing worthwhile THEN merger with someone else! LOL!

But I suppose that's the BG high risk speculator talking .. maybe failures at Dunsborough has shattered dreams of mid-term oil reserves that forced ARQ to move now.
