satyr - Do you know of any cases of a child being denied entry to a private school, due to their sexuality. Personally, I don't and I have been within the education sector for many decades. Please inform me if I am wrong.
Because we live in a democracy, and embrace religious freedoms, private schools who are teaching the state based curricular are able to set up their own schools. It is compulsory for children to attend school and these schools enable families to have a wider choice as to where they send their children. Taxpayers don't dictate legislation, satyr. I am not a Muslim but my taxes are supporting Muslim schools in Australia. Do Muslim schools refuse entry to homosexual children? I don't know.
I've never come across a Christian-based school refusing entry to a homosexual student. Ever.
