An interesting point. However I have looked at ASIC's records for Axis Consultants Pty Ltd. These records list the shareholders of Axis.

Among the list of AXIS shareholders there is no mention of Merlin i.e. MED.

Perhaps you were confused by the two companies having identical postal addresses - Level 1A, 42 Moray Street, Southbank, Vic 3006.
