That’s what I was thinking Scoot until the wording of today’s announcement prompted me to do some digging around...

From what I can gather the NT process to go mining looks like this...

NT EPA and Fed EPBC approval - Done.
Native Title Agreement - Done
Granting of Mineral Lease - Very soon
Authority to Mine - It looks like this is the big one that requires a compliant MMP (including our Water Abstraction Plan) and perhaps a security bond.

Here’s a list of security bonds held by the NT Gov. If we’re pushing for an Authority to Mine in the next 6-12mths it looks like we’ll need to cough up some serious coin!

I’m going to throw it out there that we’ll see the ML granted prior to the AGM and perhaps even prior to the closure of the SPP.

Never a dull moment with TNG and I only wish that management would lay the whole permitting process out for us so that we’re not speculating or developing unrealistic expectations.
