What a funny day.  The US market fell for, according to analysts, no specific reason.  My market short in place helped protect me a little.  And I could not resist a bit of WBC at the death.  But I have enough cash in case the market falls more.  If market shoots up, then I cant make much (my ASX200 short will stop me).  But I just want a portfolio that will pay franked dividends and not crash and I dont care if it does not rocket.  I dont see any rocketing in the market for  while.

To all bank share holders..... best of luck to you.  And I hear our central bank is in the ear of our government to not introduce new anti bank laws.

re WBC.... how low can it go?  Wow.  I do read WBC has the least regulatory issues - and the least lawsuits possible against them.  But who knows what is yet to be unearthed.  I am in WBC as I dont see a mortgage collapse.  Just tread water for a few years (as I have posted).  Tread water with franked dividend works for me.

(should I be saving for when it is $20)
