Alex Turnbull is wrong when he says the Liberal party "has been taken over by the hard right".
It has not. The government, and possibly the Liberal party, has been destroyed by the hard right. It is this fundamental truth that illustrates why the Coalition is now unfit to govern.
How can they ever purport to provide stable government when a single bomb thrower and 4 or 5 dinosaurs can derail any government policy and the leadership. The Coalition is no longer a viable government and this will be reinforced at the next election.
