In specie distribution of Pike is not very likely I would think. The company would surely rather sell the whole stake and use the cash to expand its oil business.
They will hold onto Pike until it hits full scale production and then review it then. Once Pike has paid off its debts and commitments, the dividend flow out of it will be very strong as they (technically) have nothing to reinvest it in at present.
